Dr Daron Seukeran is a Consultant Dermatologist at the James Cook University Hospital, Teesside . He is the General Secretary of the European Laser Association. Dr Seukeran has a wide range of expertise in laser surgery but particularly in the treatment of vascular lesions, laser resurfacing for acne scarring as well and other forms of laser treatment in traumatic scars and Burn scars.  He has been Involved in research of laser treatment of inflammatory acne and most recently been involved in the development of  British Association of Dermatology guidelines for  photodynamic therapy and Rosacea. He also specialises in treating patients with skin of colour using a range of lasers.
